AGM 8th May 2019, short report

Our Wrexham Business Group AGM at Town Square on Wednesday afternoon was quite well attended… 11 people from the business community and also Graham from Santander Bank, Norah Lucas our MP’s wife, John Gallanders of AVOW, and Gareth Hatton of Businessline.
We elected new committee members Daphne Roberts and John Jones, to replace retiring ones Richard Evans, Laura Evison and Nigel Lewis.
Discussed what we want our Business Group to become in the future and what we hope it can do for us and the town…
Decided on some immediate goals to work towards, including better communication between ourselves as the first one!
Gareth from Businessline gave us a quick overview of the ways he can help us, amazing how many there are.
We decided to meet up again on the second Wednesday of each month, at 4.15pm at Town Square.
Any owner or manager of a business based in Wrexham, either town or county, is welcome to join our group – it’s only £25 for businesses with 3 or more employees, £5 for a sole trader or those with 1-2 employees, or FREE for start ups in their first year.
